What Every Parent, Teacher & Student Needs to Know About Ending the Cycle of Fear
On Thursday, September 18, FVL Schools is hosting a special FREE Community Parents Night on the topic of bullying. Our special presenter will be Christian Family Solutions Counselor Sarah Reik, a family, couples, and individual counselor, and former adjunct psychology professor at Wisconsin Lutheran College. This presentation examines the problem of bullying by considering the definition and prevalence of bullying and by profiling both the bully and the victim. We will discuss what parents, children, and schools can do to confront the problem of bullying and help the victims, as well as what can be done if you are the parent of a bully.
The presentation will be held in the Fox Valley Lutheran High School auditorium.
FREE tickets are available at any FVL Schools campus and the FVL School Office. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The program runs from 7-8:30 pm. Time is planned for questions from the audience. Parents are welcome to attend along with their children. FVLHS is located on the north side of Appleton at 5300 N. Meade Street.
FVL Schools thanks our promotion partners Christian Family Solutions, Thrivent Financial and 91.9 / 91.5 The Family for helping make this event possible.
